Made by Adidas, the Real Madrid 2016-2017 kit boasts a very classy and traditional design, inspired by the very first shirts worn by Los Blancos in the early 1900s. A white base (officially Crystal White) is combined with subdued accents in a purplish blue (Ray Purple).A traditional polo collar with blue trim rounds off the look of the Real Madrid 2016-17 home kit, which is combined with shorts and socks of the same style. The outer back of the collar of the Real Madrid 16-17 jersey reads the club name in a subtle manner.

The new Adidas Real Madrid home shirt stands in stark contrast to the last few Real Madrid home kits which featured bold new accent colors for the most part. The last Real Madrid kit to boast purple as secondary color was the 2007-08 Real Madrid home kit.

Real Madrid got a busy day of kit releases from Europe’s major clubs under way today with their 2016/17. You could say it’s a flying start, with Emirates Airlines being the shirt primary sponsors. The kit had been widely leaked beforehand and whilst the initial images proved wrong, the most recent photos weren’t wrong. It’s the eighteenth home kit Adidas has provided since taking over in 1998 and one of the classiest yet.

As we have come to expect, the Real Madrid home kit for next season is all white. It’s fair to say that there would be a riot if it wasn’t. Only once since their formation in 1925/26 has the club not worn white as the base colour so the chances of that being repeated appear slim.

Which is a relief because the club should be proud of this kit. It is a stylish update from Adidas for next season with a polo – style collar with a mulberry underlay.

REAL MADRID 15-16 AWAY KIT

This is the new Real Madrid 2015-2016 Away Soccer Kit.

The new Real Madrid 2015-16 Away Kit is Grey / Solar Yellow with a cotton mesh pattern to create a fashionable design, inspired by streetwear.

Adidas combines the main color grey with yellow 3 stripes and a monochromatic white club badge. The simple crew neck collar, the sleeve cuffs and the bottom of the new Adidas Real Madrid 2015-16 Away Jersey are dark grey.

A silver-reflective Real Madrid crest and the writing Hala Real Madrid y nada más are placed on the inside of the Real Madrid 15-16 Adidas Away Kit.

These are the new Real Madrid kits 2015/16, Spanish giants Real Madrid’s new home and away strips for the upcoming La Liga season. The new uniforms, made by Adidas, use the “Only Perfect Counts” motto and were officially unveiled on 15 June, 2015.

Real will have a new manager in the form of Rafa Benitez in the 2015/16 season after Carlo Ancelotti paid the price for a season where the club were unable to win either La Liga, Copa del Rey or the Champions League. The likes of Gareth Bale (ex Tottenham), Cristiano Ronaldo (ex Man Utd), Karim Benzema, Luka Modric, Sergio Ramos et al ply their trade for Los Blancos.

The new Real Madrid home jersey 2015/16, as you’d expect, is predominantly white, with silver grey Adidas stripes on the shoulders. The home goalkeeper shirt is black in colour, again with grey Adidas stripes running down the shoulders.

Inside the back of the neck is the inscription “hala madrid y nada mas” from the club anthem, meaning “Come on Madrid and nothing else”.

The away kit is grey in colour, as leaked by us last month. Adidas have dubbed this colour as “Silver Glory”, a tribute to the trophies won Real Madrid in the years gone by. The stripes are a bright fluorescent yellow, while the club crest is in white and grey colours. The change goalie kit is a dark green one, as can be seen in the pics below. The fabric is a different one for the change kit- it feels more like cotton without compromising on performance.

Both kits use Adidas’ ClimaCool technology and are sponsored by Fly Emirates.
